Avery was put down yesterday after a year of declining mobility, his back legs finally went out and I knew it was time.
He's been a great friend for many years, he was a huge food enthusiast, a great companion to any bunny he met, and a mellow gentle giant.
I will miss him very much, but am thankful for the wonderful years we've had together.
We spent his last hour outside, where he could lay in the grass and graze, soak up the sun and cuddle.
